Have you ever heard about the dog breed from title? No? I am not shocked! All these breeds are native American dogs, that are sadly extinct today.

Salish Wool Dog was a dog, that was bred by native people in America. It was in place of today British Columbia and Washington State. Salish Wool Dog was small, long coated, white Spitz type of dog and they actually wasnt used for guarding, herding or even as companion, but they were bred for their fur.

Hare Indian Dog was much more popular dog than the Salish Wool Dog, he lived in Canada and northern USA, mostly around Great Bear Lake, Lake Winnipeg and Lake Superior. He got his name after Hare Indian tribe, that lived in this area. They were used for hunting by sight and they were very fast. This breed was probably developed by breeding Tahitian Dogs with Viking Dogs.
