French Bulldog vs Boston Terrier - Differences

Its very easy to mistake French Bulldog with Boston Terrier. Those two breeds are very similar. But there are important differences between them.

The reason, why french bulldog and boston terrier have similar appearance is, that they have common ancestor, which is English Bulldog. Boston Terrier was bred in USA by crossin English Bulldog with English Terrier. But we dont know much about origin of French bulldog, we just know, that English Bulldog was involved in it.

Frenchies are taller and heavier than Boston Terrier, with weight around 12 kgs. Boston Terriers come in several different sizes, but they normally weighs between 7 to 11 kgs. Both breeds have squashed face, but French bulldog has bat ears while boston terrier has smaller and more compact ears.
