Are you looking for smart, affectionate and loyal companion that is pretty low maintance? Austrian Pinscher might be the right choice for you!

Austrian Pinscher was originally bred as farm dog, but nowadays, they are mostly kept as loving companions. They are very clever dogs with affectionate nature. They are also very loyal and protective, which makes them great watchdogs. They are also amazing as a vermin killer for your garden, so if you have problems with moles or rats, get an Austrian Pinscher and the problem is gone.

It is medium sized dog, with height up to 50 cms and weigh between 12 to 18 kgs. They have short and hard coat, which is in red, black, brown, fawn, brindle or black and tan color. There can be some white markings on their coat as well. Austrian Pinscher has pear-shaped head and wide well developed chest. The tail is curled over their back.

Great thing about Austrian Pinscher is, that they are very low maintance. They only need ocassional brushing. Of course, you should clip their nails from time to time, if they are too big and clean their ears and tooth, if necessary. Bad thing is, that Austrian Pinscher sheds quiet a lot, so prepare for a vacuuming.
