In this video i will tell you why i think, that most of the common reasons why people abandon their dogs are excuses and completely dumb. I will answer questions like: What are the most common reasons why people abandon their pets? What is the average ownership of relinquished dogs? And what is the average age of the owners who give up their dogs?
Shelters are full of abandoned animals and many of them must be euthanized. Make your research before buying or adopting a new dog into your home. This is not an emotional decision. Be completely honest with yourself, do you have time and money to take proper care about the dog? Make a research and choose a breed that will be suitable for your needs, but also for your skills and experiences with dogs. Are you patient enough to train and socialize a puppy? If people would be more realistic and honest to themselves, there will not be that many abandoned dogs.
