Cavapoo is a crossbreed between two purebred dogs – the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle – most ofthen the Miniature Poodle. These crossbreeds are often times also called as Desginer dogs.

If there is one thing Cavapoo excells at, it is how good companions they make. They are very social,friendly and calm and even though they are pretty active, they are best suited for apartment living. They like to be around people and it does not matter if it is a older kid or senior.

Cavapoos are easy to train. It is because they have high intelligence from the Poodle side and they are also eager to please. Thanks to this they are quick learners and highly trainable dogs. But as with all dogs, it is important to start the training and socialization as soon as possible.
5) Maintance
Cavapoo needs quite a lot of grooming. Their coats need more than a regular weekly brushing to keep them at their best. It is important to check their long floppy ears regularly, because they are prone to ear infections. Great thing about Cavapoo is, that they have only a little bit of the typical doggy odor.

The Cavapoo is an active breed, but thanks to their small size, it is not hard to exhaust them every day. The best is a few daily longer walks, but even if its rainy outside, you can exhaust them by some vigorous inside play.
